Dan Schulman, CEO of PayPal who has recently opened crypto services said in an interview with CNBC Squak Box on Monday that he is optimistic about the properties of Bitcoin as a currency.

He said: "I think that there'll be more and more use cases for cryptocurrencies. Over time, Bitcoin will be more widely accepted, more stable, and possibly more valuable." In other words, the practicality of Bitcoin as a currency will eventually be better than just being used as a means of investment. Schulman also believes that central bank digital currency is an inevitable global trend. In this case, cryptocurrency will bring more and more utility, and both may play important roles in the future.
