Yield farming operation Pickle Finance is merging with Yearn Finance in order to reduce duplicate work, increase specialization, and leverage shared expertise, according to an announcement on Tuesday. 

The announcement added that this is an initial release with further integration planned for the future. The post listed several changes which will be brought on by the merge including Pickle Jars and v2 Vaults merging, Pickle introducing reward Gauges and Pickle Governance participants gaining voting power.
