One popular crypto commentator, CryptoDog, predicted in a tweet that Bitcoin will reach new price highs after a 40% pullback as it did before setting its previous record in 2017.

From June to September 2017 Bitcoin saw two 30% pullbacks and one 40% pullback before breaching $20,000. On Tuesday, Bitcoin surged to $19,412 during the morning trading session marking the nearest its come in years to approaching $20,000.

The crypto commentator wrote that a 40% pullback at this level would put Bitcoin at $6,600 and urged followers to buy the dip with him as the pullback could be followed by a catapult past $20,000.
