Wells Fargo, the banking giant, is backing blockchain forensics firm Elliptic, according to an announcement on Thursday.

Elliptic received a total of $28 million in their Series B funding round, with $5 million coming from Wells Fargo Strategic Capital (WFSC). This investment is partly geared toward one of Elliptic’s most recent products , Elliptic Discovery, which provides a bill of health for over 200 crypto exchanges worldwide.
