SBI Crypto, a subsidiary of Japanese financial services giant SBI Holdings, has partnered with the German tech company Northern Data AG and Texas-based data centers operator Whinstone US Inc.
On Thursday the partnership was revealed in announcement, which explained that Whinstone, a subsidiary of the Frankfurt-based Northern Bitcoin AG, would host SBI Crypto at its data center in Texas, as well as assist SBI Crypto in the creation of blockchain-related projects. Carson Smith, CEO of SBI, stated that the firm has been planning the partnership with Whinstone and Northern Data since early last year.
