According to Bloomberg, the Swedish government is exploring the feasibility of digital currency. Its Minister of Financial Markets Per Bolund said that the relevant review launched on Friday is expected to be completed by the end of November 2022, and Anna Kinberg Batra, the former chairman of the Swedish Bank Finance Committee, will lead the investigation. Sweden is one of the first countries in the world to introduce digital currency. Its central bank has cooperated with Accenture on a pilot project to introduce the E-Krona based on blockchain technology.
