The cryptocurrency exchange BTSE announced the launch of the ERC-20 version of Monero WXMR (Wrapped Monero) on the Ethereum blockchain. WXMR and XMR are 1:1 anchored and guaranteed by BTSE.

WXMR will provide Monero holders with greater flexibility and bring greater liquidity to the DeFi ecosystem. The announcement also stated that by holding WXMR, users can meet the transparency required by KYC/AML requirements while ensuring privacy.
