BoringDAO, a decentralized asset bridge releases its roadmap for 2021 today, the core of the work is to become fully decentralized.
The First part includes connecting oBTC to other blockchains and allowing a "cross-chain shuttle"; oBTC (ERC-20) will be able to interact with BTC (Bitcoin Network) and oBTC (Polkadot) are freely exchanged; oBTC will run on layer 2, like ZK-Rollup, OP-Rollup, and Plasma.
As for the goal of completely decentralized and permanent infrastructure, multi-signature holders, multi-sign node replacement specifications and election systems will be implemented to the system, clear incentive plan, Treasury mechanism are also listed in the to-do list.
