Blockstream engineer and Bitcoin Core developer Andrew Chow has launched a Bitcoin Core usage survey to understand why people use Bitcoin Core, how they use it and which features are used most.

Bitcoin Core is programmed to decide which blockchain contains valid transactions. Bitcoin Core helps to keep the Bitcoin network decentralized and secure. Chow wrote in the description of his survey that the results will help developers decide which features on the network to prioritize work.

Additionally the survey will allow users to provide feedback, such as feature requests, so that we can include things that people want. Chow promised the survey results would be shared publicly.
