Hive Blockchain, a listed mining company based in Canada announced the purchase of 6,400 Avalon Miner 1246 next-generation miners from Canaan, with a total hash computing power of 576 PH/s.

This order is almost double the 3,500 units purchased by Hive last year. Hive said that the new pieces of equipment are expected to be delivered in 8 batches on a monthly basis. The total hash rate will reach 1,229 PH/s after the miners are fully deployed by the end of 2021.
