Wintermute, a London-based digital asset algorithm liquidity provider has completed $20 million Series B funding, led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with Pantera Capital, DeFi Alliance, Avon Ventures, and other companies participated.
The company plans to use the funds to enter the Asian market with its first international office in Singapore, Wintermute will also develop a derivatives business and RFQ (request-for-quote) services for counterparties.
The company, which is established in 2017 and provides liquidity for more than 500 spot trading pairs, revealed that its trading volume explodes with a monthly growth rate of 60% in 2020, reaching $30 billion in December.
