Diem Network is expected to launch its first product at the end of the quarter, under the partnership with cryptocurrency custodian Fireblocks and payment platform First Digital Assets Group, according to a report from Coindesk.
The two companies are providing digital plumbing services for Diem to help financial service providers (such as banks, exchanges, payment service providers and e-wallets) to access Diem as soon as the product launched.
Fireblocks CEO Michael Shaulov said in an interview that the Diem payment system allows services such as refunds, and stablecoins can be easily converted into fiat ones to pay vendors or wages.
