Osprey Fund, a digital asset subsidiary of exchange-traded product provider REX Shares, announced today that its Bitcoin Trust (OBTC) has been opened to retail investors through OTC.

OBTC's 0.49% management fee is lower than Grayscale's GBTC, and other fees (such as crypto custody) are 0.3%, GBTC has an annual fee of 2%.

Greg King, CEO of Osprey said: "We expect those costs will go down both over time and as AUM grows. Custody costs have gone down significantly over the past few years and as those changes take place those savings will flow directly to investors."
