According to Decrypt, the information technology research and consulting company Gartner conducted a poll of 77 financial executives.

The survey results showed that only 5% of financial executives said they would consider adding Bitcoin as the company's reserve asset this year; 1% of the respondents said they will add between 2022-2023; 9% said they would hold Bitcoin in 2024 or later; 84% of the respondents have no intention to use Bitcoin as a company reserve asset because of the high volatility.

Alexander Bant, head of research at Gartner Finance, said: "There are a lot of unresolved issues when it comes to the use of Bitcoin as a corporate asset. It’s unlikely that adoption will increase rapidly until we get more clarity on these challenges."
