As Bitcoin soars past $54,000, Coinbase's valuation surges to as high as $100 billion based on the trades from the Nasdaq private equity market, according to a report from The Block.

Since the launch of secondary market trading on January 25, the average cleared transaction price of Coinbase shares has continued to rise, and the latest average clear price is $373 per share, brings its total valuation to $100 billion.

According to the market's order book data, there are two multi-billion-dollar bids, which are respectively $350 and $450 per share. The identity of the bidders is unclear, and sources say they are likely investment giants.
