The technology giant Oracle today launched the Oracle database which implements blockchain technology.

By introducing immutable tables (insert-only tables) in Oracle Database 21c (21.3) and blockchain tables, the database can protect the critical assets of corporate customers (contracts, property ownership, account statements, etc.) from being modified or even deleted by hackers or others. The new features provide users an additional layer of protection except for the basic data security functions.
