Heath Tarbert, the former U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) chairman who is friendly to cryptocurrency, announced his full departure from the commission this Friday. 

As Bitpush previously reported, Heath Tarbert ended his tenure as the 14th CFTC chairman on January 21 and continues to serve as one of the five committee members of the agency. 

Tarbert won praise from the crypto industry because of his friendly attitude towards cryptocurrencies, he said in 2019 that Ethereum is not a security, but a commodity.
