According to Decrypt, McDonald's France will launch a series of fast-food NFTs in cooperation with the tokenization company DDB.

The dropping will take place on the OpenSea platform on April 9th, including GIF animation of chicken nuggets, burgers, ice cream, and French fries.

Unlike other brands, McDonald's does not sell NFTs but conducts a contest among Twitter and Instagram fans. Pierre Guengan, head of social media at DDB, stated that the winners will be able to use their NFT freely. He said: "If a person wants to sell it, it’s possible, but it will not be our doing."
