The team behind the meme coin Elongate announced that it has donated a total of more than $1 million to various charities. 

Elongate, built on Binance Smart Chain and launched three weeks ago, is inspired by Elon Musk's tweet--"If there's ever a scandal about me, *please* call it Elongate."

Currently, Elongate does not have any affiliation with Elon Musk. The project aims to use the power of memes and Internet culture to promote charitable donations. 

Elongate is led by Lorenzo Andree, a Swiss business informatics scientist. The team is constantly expanding and is committed to further developing its business.
