According to a public Form 10 document, Bitwise Asset Management has filed to register its crypto fund--Bitwise 10 Crypto Index Fund--as a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting company. 

If approved, Bitwise must regularly submit its holdings and quarterly reports to the SEC. Qualified investors will have more liquidity opportunities as the legal holding period will be shortened from 12 months to 6 months. 

Bitwise will also become the second cryptocurrency issuer to register its product as a public reporting company after Grayscale.
