During an interview with Baltimore Business Journal, Bill Stromberg, the CEO of fund management company T. Rowe Price Group, said that cryptocurrencies are far from mature.

When asked whether the company will invest in cryptocurrency, Stromberg said: "It's early days. We have some research going on around it. Some companies, just really a handful, have tried to put together products where one can buy and own crypto-related currencies. It really truly is early, early days here so I would expect this to move at a good pace but take years to really unfold."

As of January 31, the Baltimore-based company managed $1.46 trillion in assets, providing funds, asset management, consulting, account management, and retirement planning services for individuals, institutions, and financial intermediaries.
