Robert Kaplan, the President of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank of the United States, said in a speech on Friday that he was worried about potential leverage and excessive risk-taking behavior in the non-bank financial system, as reported by Reuters.

He also mentioned that the economy will reach the benchmark set by the central bank to reduce its bond purchases, the speed is earlier than he expected, and the Fed should start talking about tapering the bond-buying.

"If the world grows more slowly, the US economy will grow more slowly than it would otherwise," Kaplan added. "Vaccinations are the primary economic development tool worldwide."
