Techstars, a global network focused on incubating companies, and Protocol Labs, the team behind Filecoin, have launched a new accelerator program, Filecoin Techstars Accelerator.

Protocol Labs is an open-source research and development laboratory that builds the next generation of the Internet. The company is known for its two flagship products, including IPFS and Filecoin. It is said that hundreds of development teams are building decentralized applications based on the Filecoin storage layer.

The new accelerator aims to catch up with the Web3 wave and incubate start-ups using IPFS/Filecoin blockchain storage networks.

Applications will be accepted from mid-September to the end of November 2021, and the ten selected startup companies will participate in the hybrid virtual/face-to-face accelerator program from March to June 2022.
