According to Reuters, the first cryptocurrency ATM in Honduras has started operations this week. 

The ATM, which is managed by the local company TGU Consulting Group, is called "la bitcoinera" locally. It allows residents to obtain Bitcoin and Ethereum using the local lempira currency.

The ATM was installed in an office building in the capital Tegucigalpa. TGU CEO Juan Mayen said that many software developers in Honduras have chosen to receive payment in cryptocurrency.
