Christine Brown, the Chief Operating Officer of Robinhood Crypto, today stated in an interview with Yahoo Finance that Robinhood may add cryptocurrency to its balance sheet.

Brown also stated that the Robinhood platform is considering supporting more cryptocurrencies, she said: "Now, if you have more than the seven coins that we currently offer, we won’t be able to fulfill that today. So, we are looking at extending our offering including even more coins so we can be the one-stop-shop for crypto customers."

Cryptocurrency has become an important part of Robinhood's business, the company announced today that it plans to start testing the digital wallet feature on its app in October, which enables users to send and receive cryptocurrency. This move may attract more crypto users.
