Circle co-founder and CEO Jeremy Allaire tweeted that USDC's circulation has reached the milestone of 30 billion U.S. dollars and is expected to achieve 1,000% growth in 2021. 

On September 24, 2018, Circle and Coinbase jointly launched USDC. Allaire said that in the next few years, end-users will grow from millions to hundreds of millions, and the number of companies using it will grow from thousands to hundreds of thousands, thereby driving USDC circulation to hundreds of billions.
