SparkPool issued an announcement stating that in order to comply with China's latest industry regulatory policies, it has decided not to provide mining pool services to users in mainland China. The specific shutdown plan for services in Mainland China will be announced in the near future. 

According to data from btc.com, Spark Pool is currently the largest Ethereum mining pool based on real-time hash rate, followed by Ethermine.

Earlier on Friday, the People's Bank of China and other regulatory authorities issued a document defining crypto transactions as illegal, virtual currencies do not have the same legal status as legal tender, and should not and cannot be used as currency in the market.
