The US cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase announced on Tuesday that it will launch "Coinbase NFT", a market that allows users to buy and sell digital collectibles based on Ethereum. The waiting list is now open.
Coinbase wrote in a blog post: "If you’ve tried to create or purchase an NFT, you’ve probably found the user experience lacking. Coinbase NFT will make minting, purchasing, showcasing and discovering NFTs easier than ever. We’re making NFTs more accessible by building intuitive interfaces that put the complexity behind the scenes."
The source told CoinDesk that Coinbase NFT is expected to be launched by the end of 2021.
A day ago, the crypto exchange FTX.US announced the Solana-based NFT market and plans to support other blockchains, including Ethereum in the future.
