After Coinbase announced the launch of its own NFT platform, as of press time, the number of people on the waiting list has exceeded 960,000.
Sanchan Saxena, Vice President of Products at Coinbase, said on Twitter: "We are seeing insane loads on our servers".
The Coinbase NFT market is scheduled to be launched at the end of 2021. Currently, only users over 18 years old and living in the United States can join the waiting list, and the platform will allow users to cast, display, and discover NFTs. It will also be equipped with a self-custody wallet and not require the Know Your Customer (KYC) checks.
