New York Attorney General Letitia James directed two unregistered cryptocurrency lending platforms to stop operating in New York, three platforms are required to immediately provide information about their activities and products. 

The company names were not disclosed.

James stated that lending platforms that operate in New York State or provide products to New Yorkers must be registered with the Office of the Attorney General (OAG), the move is designed to protect New York investors and the wider trading market from high-risk virtual currency programs.
