Game studio Faraway has raised nearly $30 million in financing so far in 2021, including an earlier private equity seed round of more than $8 million and a fresh $21 million Series A financing,  participate VCs including FTX, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Lightspeed, Solana, Jump Capital, Sequoia Capital, and Pantera Capital, according to a report from Decrypt.

Faraway is launching its first game, Mini Royale: Nations, which is a multiplayer online game based on Solana. It supports players to collect and resale NFTs for weapon skins, character skins and accessories, as well as future buildings in the game. 

Mini Royale: Nations will also deploy a governance token and a separate utility token to allow players to participate in community governance.
