Brave, the privacy-centric crypto browser, today announced its expansion from Ethereum to the Solana blockchain, the ecosystem behind the current fourth-largest cryptocurrency SOL.
Brave will integrate the Solana blockchain into the Brave browser, providing Brave’s 42 million monthly active users and 1.3 million verified creators with default Solana ecosystem support. Once the integration is completed in the first half of 2022, millions of Brave users will have the opportunity to access various new Solana decentralized applications (dapps). The integration will also enable the Solana DEX aggregator for swaps, NFT support, sending SPL tokens, and creating accounts.
According to data from App Figures, Brave is currently the third most downloaded Internet browser, second only to Opera and Google's Chrome.
