Apple CEO Personally Owns Some Cryptos But Has No Plans To Add Bitcoin To The Company's Balance Sheet

During the DealBook Online Summit, Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that he personally owns some cryptocurrencies and has been interested in cryptocurrencies for some time. 

Cook said: "I think it’s reasonable to own it as part of a diversified portfolio," but Apple's products do not support the purchase of cryptocurrencies, and Apple has no plans to add Bitcoin to its balance sheet. 

Tim Cook also said that Apple is currently studying cryptocurrency technology, "but this is not something we plan to do right away." Apple mentioned cryptocurrency experience in a recruitment advertisement in May, and this position focuses on the role of business development as an alternative payment method.
