The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) once again delay its decision on Grayscale’s proposed conversion of the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) into a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF),  according to a notice published on Friday.

The SEC delayed the decision on the case last December.

The result was in line with market expectations given that the SEC helmsman has always disliked spot Bitcoin ETFs. Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart tweeted that a final decision on the proposal will be around July 6.
