Hong Kong-based non-fungible token (NFT) platform Ucollex has closed a $10 million Series A round led by Animoca Brands and MCP IPX One Fund, part of Japanese investment firm MCP Asset Management, according to Coindesk. The company's valuation was not disclosed.

Ucollex's platform does not require buyers to own a digital wallet and provides users with exclusive content, artist interviews, 3D art and virtual reality experiences. Ucollex partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Binance last year to support luxury fashion brand Jimmy Choo’s first NFT launch.

Ucollex board member Roberto Grande told CoinDesk that the new funding will be used to scale operations, including platform and blockchain technology development, and to drive key intellectual property (IP) partnerships to be announced in the near future.
