BMW Group, the car manufacturing giant, is set to roll out its blockchain supply chain solution to 10 suppliers this year.

The blockchain, which has been dubbed “PartChain,” was already sucesfully tested by BMW in 2019, according to an official announcement released on Tuesday.

PartChain was developed to ensure traceability and immediate data transparency for automobile components across complex supply chains that engage multiple international parties.
