According to CoinDesk, Israel’s Ministry of Finance and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) are planning to issue a digital state bond

The ministry and TASE are working with crypto infrastructure firms Fireblocks and VMWare to test a new platform that allows for the trading and clearing of digital bonds.

Through this, the ministry and TASE hope to be able to streamline processes, reduce costs, and shorten the time it takes to clear bonds.
