Patchen entered the company at the end of July, when CEO Michael Moro resigned amid a wave of job cuts. Chief Operating Officer Derar Islim took over as interim CEO, and finance services executive Tom Conheeney was appointed as a senior advisor.
Genesis filed a claim with bankrupt hedge fund Three Arrows Capital in July of this year. Digital Currency Group, the parent of Genesis has taken over the claim, taking all oustanding liabilities with it.
