Crypto exchange Gemini has resumed operations after being down for 7.5 hours due to a scheduled maintenance.

"The Gemini Spaceship will undergo scheduled Exchange maintenance on Thursday, December 15th from approximately 10:00 p.m. until Friday, December 16th at 12:30 a.m. ET," the exchange said on its website. However, the resumption had been postponed many times, until the exchange finally returned to normalcy at 5:30 ET.

The exchange said it is investigating reports of service disruptions, but clients can be rest reassured that their accounts and funds remain completely secure.
