Mihai Alise, the co-founder of Ethereum, states his concerns with Facebook's intentions of centralizing Libra. Facebook is claiming that in five years Libra will not be controlled by one company, such as Facebook itself. Alise believes that Facebook is using deception in order to persuade regulators for the approval of the cryptocurrency. One of Alise biggest concerns is censorships. In regards to the companies running the network, Alise asks, "Should they be in a position to control what you post from your device?" He then later adds that “This has implications on so many areas, from the economic to the political to the technological to surveillance and data privacy [...] It [Facebook] is actively manipulating the behavior of people on a global scale.
