Jon Montroll, the co-founder of BitFunder, has been sentenced to 14 months in prison. Montroll was charged with obstruction of justice and securities fraud to which he pleaded guilty and confessed that he presented falsified balance sheets to the SEC. Judge Richard M. Berman of New York Southern Districted sentenced Montroll to 14 months in prison and 3 years of supervised release.
