Chief product officer of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Surojit Chatterjee announced on Twitter he is leaving the company to join venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz as an executive in residence for its crypto unit.
According to his LinkedIn, Horowitz had been serving at Coinbase since 2020. Before that, he was at Google for more than ten years, working in payments, advertising technology and commerce.
Earlier this year, Coinbase said it was planning to reduce its workforce by 20% due to the crypto winter.
