Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the release of the company's virtual reality headset Meta Quest 3 on Thursday, saying that it has higher resolution, stronger performance, breakthrough Meta Reality technology, and a slimmer, more comfortable profile. 

Meta Quest 3 will be available this fall, starting at $499.99 for the 128GB headset.

Additionally, Meta says that starting June 4, the price of the Quest 2 will drop to $299.99 for the 128GB SKU and $349.99 for the 256GB SKU.
