Crypto venture capital firm Electric Capital has announced the appointment of Ken Deeter and Maria Shen as its new general partners. 

Over the past 20 years, Deeter has built teams at companies such as VMare and Facebook, and he currently leads Electric Capital's liquidity provision and governance initiatives. Maria is responsible for investing in NFT projects and is the idea behind the company's annual developer report.

Electric Capital has supported many crypto projects and companies, including dYdX, Kraken, and Bitwise. In March 2022, Electric Capital raised $1 billion for a fund to invest in tokens and support crypto startups.
