Circle Singapore has received its Major Payment Institution license for digital payment token services in Singapore, according to reports by CoinDesk. 

The license allows Circle Singapore to offer digital payment token services, cross-border money transfer services and domestic money transfer services within the country, the firm announced on its website on Wednesday.

Circle Singapore is an affiliate of Circle Internet Financial, the issuer of the USD Coin.
