Crypto.com announced that it will suspend services for US institutional clients starting June 21. The Company noted that institutional users of the platform have been notified in advance of the decision to suspend service, and U.S. retail users will still have access to CFTC-regulated crypto derivatives trading and its UpDown options product, which allows users to open long or short positions against the future movement of tokens.

The crypto industry is expanding beyond the US, and so is Crypto.com. The company recently received a Major Payments Institution (MPI) license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
