The United Nations Internet Governance Forum (UN-IGF) has approved the establishment of a Dynamic Coalition aimed at establishing blockchain standards that can be applied to various domainsaccording to a press release. UN Joint Staff Pension Fund chief information Officer Dino Cataldo Dell'Accio and GBA executive director Gerard Dache will jointly lead the coalition. The coalition will develop blockchain standards for domains including AI, communication infrastructure, supply chain, digital identity, economic development and investments; environmental stewardship; and public services such as voting, health care, and education. The group will also submit proposals for workshops and panel discussions at the UN-IGF's annual meetings.
