New legislation was filed in the US House of Representative on April 29 to build a nationwide, private blockchain-backed network to track medical supplies in the Strategic National Stockpile (SNS), reported the Block.

The bill “was created in response to the failures of the SNS to provide personal protection equipment, ventilators and other vital equipment during the current COVID-19 pandemic,” said Democrat Representative of MA, Stephen Lynch, chief sponsor of the bill.
