According to the clerk of the court, this appeal will be heard by the next available three-judge panel. The timeline for the next steps remains uncertain.

Bankman-Fried's lawyers and the government have fought for weeks over what the defense claims are subpar conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center. They claim their client cannot adequately prepare for his October trial while incarcerated, and therefore, needed to be released.
