Loopring, the decentralized exchange, was able to patch a potentially dangerous security vulnerability before it could be exploited.

On Thursday, Starkware, the blockchain scalability and privacy specialist, found a critical bug in the frontend wallet of Loopring’s decentralized exchange. This flaw put all $5 million worth of the exchange’s funds at risk. Starkware quickly informed Loopring, who was able to close the exchange and swiftly fix the bug.
